Farther down the road, Patrick reaches though the security fence to get this
photo of some older fortified concrete installation. We guess it might
have been added during the WW II German occupation. The 5 circular
implements to the right of the concrete dome appear to be ventilation fans.
We later learned that the Germans had quite a network of underground tunnels dug
into this bluff.
