FIFTEENTH GENERATION

28992. Thomas HACHE ⁽⁸¹⁾ was born about 1465 in Sellinge, Kent, England. He died betw 1530 and 1534. He called "himself Thomas Hache in his will. 'He held the manor of Hodyford [and] was assessed as Thomas Hatche the elder [to distinguish him from a nephew] in the hundred of Street, in the subsidy of 1524.' Spelling was not at all standardized. The will was dated 12 Dec 1530 and proved 31 Dec 1534. It names six children as well as some grandchildren, but we don't know the name of his wife. Our ancestor was John Hatche the Younger, born about 1495." (Bonnie Hubbard) Children were:
